Adoption Event with Apache

  • Captivating Canines

Apache is the sweetest little puppy there is! She is a gorgeous Hound and Husky mix who was born August 12, 2016.

She was diagnosed with Canine Megaesophagus at 10 weeks but has come so far from first being diagnosed! She used to need a Bailey Chair to eat but she no longer does, all Apache needs these days is to be fed with her standing with her front feet on a kitchen chair which she is very happy to do.

She has been weaned off all medications! We are hoping since Apache has made so much progress in such a short time that she will eventually be able to overcome her MegaE and eat like a normal pup.

Apache LOVES peanut butter, Knox blocks, playing with her furry foster sisters and brothers, playing tug of war and catch. She loves to give sloppy puppy kisses and snuggles. Although Apache is a special needs pup she loves life to the fullest and does not let her MegaE slow her down. She loves to go on walks and even runs with her foster mom! Other than the way that she has to eat she is a normal dog!

Apache gets along with all other animals she has met, is kid friendly, potty and crate trained, although she does not need to stay in a crate anymore!

Adoption Event with Nitty

  • Captivating Canines

Nitty is such an awesome girl who is looking for an equally awesome home to call her own. This sweet girl is a Boxer and possibly Terrier mix who is about 8yrs old.

She may be an older gal, but you would never know it! Nitty runs around a lot when she is in the yard.
She loves going outside in the yard or going for nice leisurely walks. She does not do well in a crate but she is good when left out if you are not home and is completely potty trained.

Nitty is very smart and a super sweet girl who loves attention and giving kisses! She likes to lean against you when she is being pet and always enjoys meeting new people. Nitty does not love other dogs or cats so she would be best in a home as the only pet.

She is great with kids of all sizes. She just loves to give them kisses and snuggles.

Adoption fee $195, apply to adopt at causeforcanines.org.

Adoption Event with Sassy

  • Captivating Canines

Say hello to Sassy! She is about 2yrs old and 45lbs - we think she is a Terrier and Lab mix. She is a very happy girl who would love an active home that would take her jogging or hiking. Sassy does very well on the leash/harness and walks along busy streets and stops at crosswalks without issue, she even stays on course with other dogs barking at her from behind a fence.
Sassy is an incredibly well behaved dog and a super sweetheart that loves to nap on the couch with her head on your lap. She loves play ball and chew her squeaky toys and adores children. She is very relaxed with exceptional manners and takes treats from your hand slowly/softly. You won't hear a peep from her unless she is alerting to a noise outside and then it’s just a low growl to let you know someone is there.
Sassy is completely housebroken and does not need to be crated while you're gone! Sassy would prefer to be the only pup in your life but she has such a great personality she is all you will need.
