Volunteer/Foster Application

Cause for Canines is always looking for foster care providers. All vetting and medical care, food, supplies, and monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention is provided. As a foster, all you need to provide is a safe home and lots of love until your foster dog is adopted.

Volunteers are also needed to help with organizing adoption events, transporting dogs, and completing home visits.

Your application will be reviewed by a Cause for Canines Coordinator, at which point your vet reference will be contacted and your vet records will be verified.

2. A Cause for Canines Coordinator will contact you to schedule a home visit.

This is required for all fosters to ensure fit and safety for our animals. Home visits take anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes.
